Gold Rush


Separate egg and discard yolk, grate ginger as finely as possible.

In a cocktail shaker stir the honey, lemon juice and C.C Gold rum until honey is dissolved.

Add grated ginger and egg white and fill shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously for a couple of minutes.

Strain into a rocks glass full of ice.

Top with a sprinkle of lemon peel and/or a cardamom pod.

Fill a rocks glass with ice, strain cocktail strainer into glass.

Top with orange twist and enjoy!


50ml Cape Cornwall Gold Rum
20ml Lemon juice
20ml Honey
1 Egg white (optional)
1/2 tsp Grated ginger
1/2 tsp Grated lemon peel
1 Cardamom pod (optional)
